![]() There are a LOT of Classes via Mods, and I don't believe you can play with others who do not have the same mods installed, or maybe even all. Still, great Coop game, if you can find others to play with. I personally, feel as if taking that portion away from everyone else except the Host, kind of ruins a lot of the Story element. ![]() (Again, unless they've changed it, but I doubt it). Other players who are not the host, will not get any of these options. The game has multiple Npc's, who have decent story lines, in which the Host can enter into a relationship with them. I mainly speak of "Romancing" in this game. However, there are some certain things to note, unless they've been changed, which I doubt they have. I will say however that playing with friends/people you know, is much better than the single player experience. Meaning, if you don't have friends to play with, well, tough. I haven't really done a bunch of Coop sessions though. This gameplay mechanic all in itself should make the game worth buying alone. Such as knowing when to use Oil/Fire combinations. Meaning, there is no actual "Pause" function in the game, however, every player/enemy has "Turn Phases".ĭivinity games (from my experience), heavily make you rely on using skills/environments in a way that can be seen as advantageous. ![]() I will probably purchase this anyways sometime in the future because i can finally play a rpg on pc with 2 controllersīauldurs Gate Dark Alliance/2 was an absolute "Joke" to the franchise, and shouldn't have been made in the first place.ĭivinity games, are Strategic games, and unlike Baulders Gate 1/2 (The PC games), this game does not take form of a "Real Time Active Combat" mode. I know the core of the game has been compared to Baldur's Gate, but it was the PS2 coop on Dark Alliance that really hooked me and i've been looking for something like that.
